Membership Options
Club membership may take one of the following forms:
a) FULL: These members are licensed pilots wishing access to our entire fleet of aircraft. This type of membership allows customers to reserve and rent the aircraft for unlimited periods of time on a first-come, first-served basis. Full members are entitled to wet, tach rates and are charged only for the tach time used. Full members have unlimited use of club aircraft. No minimum daily charges and no overnight fees apply.
b) STUDENT: These members are non-certificated pilots in training. They cannot rent aircraft overnight or take passengers. Student members are guaranteed a Full Member position in the club (they will not be placed on a waiting list). Students may choose whether or not to pay a membership fee. Those that pay their fee are allowed to rent aircraft by the tach hour at tach rates. Those that choose not to pay their membership fee must pay hobbs rates and are charged by the hobbs hour.
c) LIMITED: This type of membership is designed for a certificated (private or better) pilot working with us temporarily on an advanced rating or license (e.g. commercial, instrument, multi, etc.). This type of member is limited to dual flights and supervised solo flights only. They cannot take passengers along and are not allowed to take aircraft overnight. The only solo flight allowed is for practicing maneuvers or for the purpose of logging required cross-country time. Limited members always pay hobbs rates by the hobbs hour. Scheduling aircraft for Limited Members takes secondary precedence to Full Members.
