Multi-Engine Recurrent Training

FOR WHOM IS THIS COURSE INTENDED?

The Windy City Flyers M.E. Recurrent Training Program is intended for pilots who fly regularly, who either by desire or by necessity seek instrument currency training.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THIS COURSE?

You should expect to leave this training program with renewed confidence in your ability to handle normal and emergency situations in IFR, as well as the legal means to do so. This course will allow you to complete an FAA Instrument Proficiency Check, as well as review and train for multi-engine and instrument emergency situations.

HOW IS THE COURSE STRUCTURED?

The course is broken down into four sessions, each with two hours of ground, and two hours of flight.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE COURSE?

· Ensure that you are comfortable with all the topics related to a standard Windy City Flyers Biennial Flight Review. We will assume that you are current in these areas when you begin the course.

· You need not be IFR current, but we suggest that you be less than six months out of currency. Any more than this and you may require more training than is allotted in the syllabus.

· Review the approach procedures and enroute charts for PWK and the Chicago area.
